Eilen juhlittiin. Yhden syntymäpäivää ja toisen peruskoulun päättymistä.
Kukkien tilalla veimme kassillisen yrttejä.
Kakku oli hyvää ja ilma loistava.
Minä kävelin ensimmäistä kertaa paljain jaloin tänä kesänä
ja ajattelin, että pitäisi juhlia useammin.

Yesterday we celebrated. For one person's birthday and other one's graduating.
Instead of flowers we brought herb plants.
The cake was great and the weather was wonderful.
I walked barefoot for the first time this summer
and thought about how we should celebrate more often.
