Viime aikoina olen kovasti himoinnut hiuskoristeita ja pantoja,

mitä isompia ja överimpejä sitä parempi.

Vaikka tiedän, että oikeassa elämässä ne näyttäisivät

päässäni vähintäänkin hölmöiltä, enkä

sitten kuitenkaan kehtaisi lähteä ulos härpätin päässä.

Mutta voisihan sellaista pitää salaa kotona,

vähän niin kuin sitä tiaraa, jonka ostin yläasteella.

Lately I've been lusting for hair accessories

and headbands. The bigger the better.

Even though I know in real life they would

look just silly on me, and I wouldn't

dare to leave the house wearing them.

But I could secretly wear it at home,

like that tiara I bought in upper secondary school.

(Oh yes, I still have it.)
